Porcupine is one of the best mid-mountain chairs that is often overlook. I’ve heard people don’t like it because it’s very flat off the lift face which is true but what you have access to typically is overlooked because it requires hiking which I’m a huge fan of. Today was one of those days where “The Flank” pretty much looked choice.
We scoped this line from the middle bowl chair and headed right over from the 119 (sounds like a California highway) and dropped in to the Porky’s lift. Again there is so much great terrain available at Snowbasin with minimal hiking. We got some great video and the Powder lines where great but not very long because the middle section is covered in rocks still.
